Three Vietnamese men were shot and wounded in a shooting at a restaurant in Garden Grove, California over the weekend.
The incident, which is currently being investigated as an attempted homicide, happened at The Hot restaurant at 12921 Magnolia Street around 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
The victims and the alleged shooter were all having dinner at the restaurant when an argument suddenly broke out between them. Shots were then fired.
Other guests managed to hold off the suspect until police arrived to arrest him. Images would show him combative towards the deputies.

“The scene was chaotic as you can imagine, people were running, people were screaming,” the Garden Grove police sergeant said. Nick Jensen, according to NBC Los Angeles. “We had information that the suspect was still inside and customers were holding the suspect.”
Two of the victims suffered upper torso injuries and were listed in critical condition.
The third victim, who suffered injuries to the lower torso, is said to be in stable condition.

All three victims are in their 30s and 40s, while the suspect is in his 40s. All parties involved are residents of Orange County.
The shooting alarmed members of the local community.
“I’ve never heard of anything like it in this area,” said Vincent Le, a resident of Garden Grove. KTLA. “This area is very peaceful, very quiet. I’ve been here 30 years, never heard of a restaurant shooting.

Police have not identified the parties involved.
It is not known if they knew each other.
