The Columbia Police Department is investigating a shooting they say happened shortly after noon Saturday in the 3200 block of Rosewood Drive near Rosewood Elementary school.

Police said one young man had a lower-body injury that was not life threatening and that the shooting appears to be an isolated incident. One person has been detained for questioning.
