A planned stunt left six crew members with non-life-threatening burns on the set in Morocco of the untitled Paramount film Gladiator following.
No details of how the reported gunshot went from the side were provided. We learn that four of the six remain in hospital. They continue to receive treatment and are in stable condition. The incident happened on June 7.

A Paramount Pictures spokesperson told Deadline, “During the filming of a planned stunt sequence on the set of Gladiator Subsequently, an accident occurred in which several crew members suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The security and full medical services teams on site were able to act quickly so that those affected received the necessary care immediately. They are all in stable condition and continue to receive treatment. The well-being of cast and crew is of the utmost importance to us, and we have implemented strict health and safety procedures on all of our productions. We will continue to monitor the situation and take all necessary precautions as production resumes. »
The sun first reported the news as an explosion, but we heard it was a planned stunt. The sun reports that “viewers speculating that a gas line on set may have ruptured”. The sun also notes that production takes place in Ouarzazate where temperatures can regularly reach 95F.
