During his meeting with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin on July 23, Belarus’ self-proclaimed president Alexander Lukashenko raised concerns about Russian private military company Wagner planning an attack on Poland, Lukashenko-affiliated Telegram channel Pul Pervogo reported on July 23.

“They are starting to stress us with their actions – the Wagner PMC apparently intends to head west: ‘Let’s take a ride to Warsaw and Rzeszów!'” Lukashenko reportedly said.

Lukashenko has made it clear that he finds any attempt to “disintegrate Ukraine” unacceptable.

During the meeting, Lukashenko firmly stated that the mercenaries were currently stationed in central Belarus, expressing his reluctance to redeploy them to western Belarus due to their “unfavorable disposition”.

“We will take all necessary measures to counter this potential threat. Moreover, I kindly ask you to also address this issue from your side,” Lukashenko launched directly to Putin.

Lukashenko is said to have presented a new map titled “Map of Redeployment of Polish Troops Near Union State Borders: By Brigade, in Immediate Vicinity of Brest and Grodno.”

The meeting between Putin and Lukashenko took place at Konstantinovsky Palace in Strelna, near Saint Petersburg, Russia.
