UPDATE @ 5:30 p.m.:
One person was taken to the hospital after a shooting in Dayton Sunday afternoon.
Just before 4 p.m. Dayton police and medics were called to a shooting in the 2400 block of West Riverview Avenue, according to Montgomery County regional dispatch.

Dayton police on scene confirmed to our News Center 7 crew that someone was shot at least two times.
The person was taken to the hospital where they are currently listed in stable condition, according to police.
The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office was on scene of the shooting but not for the shooting victim, but rather a man who was in hospice care who died at the home, police said.
