Caroline Ellison said she raised concerns about Alameda Research’s line of credit on FTX to the exchange’s founder Sam Bankman-Fried in 2022, prior to the bankruptcy. At the time, FTX was conducting an audit of its finances to appeal to potential investors. Ellison told the government lawyer that she was worried that the line of credit would show up in the audit. Bankman-Fried said auditors wouldn’t see it, she said.
