Wednesday Season 2 will be an even bigger family affair.
In a fan theory video posted on Netflix’s annual Tudum fan event on Saturday, cast members Emma Myers (Enid), Joy Sunday (Bianca) and Hunter Doohan (Tyler) confirmed that a new member of the Addams Family would appear in the upcoming season.

Sunday shared her hope that the mystery guest will be Grandmama, Wednesday’s eccentric witchy grandmother known for her potions, fortune telling and knife throwing. Jenna Ortega (who plays the lead), meanwhile, revealed she would “love to see Cousin Itt” come through.

Household and family members who have appeared so far include Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones), Gomez (Luis Guzmàn), Pugsley (Isaac Ordonez), Uncle Fester (Fred Armisen), Lurch (George Burcea), and Thing (Victor Teodor Dorobantu) .
There are plenty of other distant relatives in the Addams Family lore who potentially can (but are less likely to) come along, such as Abigail, Gomez’s cousin by marriage who was mentioned in the original. Addams Family series.
As previously stated, Season 2 will have a greater focus on horror and will completely ditch the love triangle of Season 1. “We decided to lean a little more into the horror aspect of the show,” Ortega said. to Elle Fanning during Varietyfrom the series Actors on Actors. “We’re dropping any romantic love interests for Wednesday, which is really awesome.”
